Climate Index: 98perc_sfcWindmax Definition: Average of the annual 98th percentile of the daily maximum wind speed over a 30-year time-period. Additional information: The dataset is based on an ensemble of EURO-CORDEX model simulations of daily maximum near-surface wind speed (sfcWindmax). Results (ensemble mean and ensemble standard deviation) are available for historical (1971-2000) and future (2011-2040, 2041-2070, 2071-2100) time periods and for the representative concentration pathways RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5.
